Events 2011

Annual General Meeting, March. We thanked Ian Torry, our retiring chairman and Bryan Mason, retiring from his post as treasurer. We are most grateful to both for their substantial contributions over the years and are delighted that both Ian and Bryan have remained on our committee.

Goudhurst Village Fete, June. The Friends again ran a stall providing information and raised a bit of money as well.

Summer garden event, July. We are most grateful to Judy and Rupert Hodges for hosting our strawberry tea on July 3rd -  appreciated by all on a lovely summer afternoon.  

Christmas Fair, Saturday 19th November. This was held in the Church and, as with previous years, there was a wide range of craft stalls, display of children’s art (see Event Pictures for this year’s winners), refreshments and lots more besides. All in all an enjoyable, relaxed opportunity to browse and buy unique Christmas gifts, Christmas cards etc. We are very grateful to all who supported us in providing this event and raising £1,400.         

Carol Singing, December. Thank you to those who hosted carol parties and the excellent band of singers.
